Two killed in rage at the wheel, one minor of the two arrested

Two men, including a civil defense staff member, were stabbed to death, allegedly by a minor and his accomplice in a road rage incident at Paschim Vihar in Outer Delhi. The initial investigation has revealed that the defendant’s motorcycle struck the victim’s two-wheeler and the victim first pursued them. The two parties then had a heated discussion that turned violent. The incident was captured with a closed circuit television camera and the defendants have been arrested based on the images.

DCP (Outer District) Dr. A Koan identified the victims as Rohit Aggarwal (23) and Ghanshyam Kumar (20). “One of the culprits, Pardeep Kohli (19), has been arrested and the minor detained,” he said.

Aggarwal’s brother-in-law, Anshul Gupta, said: “We received a call around 4 am that he had been admitted to a hospital. He succumbed to his injuries when we arrived. Rohit and her childhood friend had gone to attend a friend’s wedding and the incident occurred on their return. The doctors informed us that they had more than two dozen stab wounds. “

Police said Aggarwal, a member of the civil defense staff, was driving the two-wheeler when the motorcycle Kohli was driving collided with him. “Kohli walked away, but the victims chased him for about half a kilometer. CCTV footage shows that after parking their vehicles, both parties began arguing near the Udyog Vihar subway station. Kohli allegedly pulled out a knife and began stabbing the victims before escaping. The locals did not intervene, ”said a senior police officer.

Koan said: “With the help of technical surveillance, both culprits were arrested and during questioning, it came to light that the road rage led to the double murder. The knife and the motorcycle have been recovered from the defendant ”.

During the investigation, the police scanned CCTV footage and found that the bicycle was registered to Kohli’s mother. “A raid was carried out on his house. He was sleeping. His blood-stained clothing was found inside a washing machine while the knife was near a drain. He said that he had bought the knife about 15 days ago after having a fight with one of his friends. According to his information, the minor was also detained, ”said an officer.

Aggarwal also worked in his father’s utensil store in Nangloi and Ghanshyam used to work as a laborer at a dairy in the same area. Defendant Kohli worked as a laborer in a junk shop in Bahadurgarh.
