Kohli said that Sachin advised her not to fight negative feelings and instead let them pass because fighting only strengthens those feelings.
“I also had a talk with him about the mental side of things and what he told me was, in cricket, what he experienced was if you are going through a strong negative feeling and if that is getting into your system regularly, it’s better. let it go. If you start fighting that feeling, it gets stronger. “I did (I felt depressed). It’s not a great feeling when you wake up knowing that you won’t be able to score any runs and I think every hitter has felt like at some point or another you’re not in control of anything at all. And you just don’t. you understand how to get over it. I think when you look back at a very difficult phase, you realize that you had to go through that phase completely to be able to understand what is wrong and rectify and move forward and open up to change.
