Dismissing reports there were lapses in the arrest of climate activist Disha RaviDelhi Police Commissioner SN Shrivastava said Tuesday that her arrest was made in accordance with the law and that it does not differentiate between a 22-year-old and a 50-year-old.
“As for Disha’s arrest, it was done according to procedures. The law does not distinguish between a 22-year-old and a 50-year-old. She was brought before a court that sent her into police custody for five days. It is false when people say that there were lapses in the arrest, ”he was quoted by ANI.
