Internet services have been temporarily suspended in parts of Delhi amid clashes between police and thousands of agitated farmers, whose tractor rally veered off course to enter several areas, including the iconic Red Fort, the agency reported. news ANI.

Many people shared screenshots of a text message they received on their mobile phones on social media. “According to government instructions, Internet services have been stopped in your area until further notice,” the message read.

The internet has been closed in areas near the Singhu border, the epicenter of farmers’ protest against the three agricultural laws, Ghazipur, Tikri, Mukarba Chowk, Nangloi of the national capital until 11:59 p.m. on January 26, as quoted by the ANI news agency to Union. Police also fired a few bursts of tear gas shells and used force to disperse protesters in Nagloi Chowk, west Delhi.

A protester was killed near the ITO in central Delhi in a tractor accident, police said. However, his fellow protesters claimed that he was killed by police shooting.
