A 37-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death in his south Delhi apartment and his wife was lying unconscious, police said.
Police received a call from PCR from the landlord that his tenants were not opening the door. At the same time, the police also found a post on Facebook in which a woman had shared information about the murder of her husband.
Acting on the complaint, Delhi police arrived at Chattarpur Extension on Saturday, where the deceased, Chirag, was found stabbed on the ground and his wife Renuka lay unconscious in bed.
Doctors pronounced the late Chirag Sharma dead, while Renuka is currently under treatment at a hospital.
The couple had no children. From the initial investigation, it was found that there were differences between them.
One case has been registered under section 302 (murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
Police said the investigation revealed that the couple had been living in the apartment since 2013 and working for an insurance company.
