Students must answer questions for 80 points in class 10 Odisha board exams – education

The Odisha government said Sunday that students will answer questions for 80 points on each job instead of 100 points on this year’s state board exams.

Fifty of those 80 marks will comprise objective questions in OMR (Optical Mark Recognition) format and the remaining 30 marks will be subjective, said Minister for School and Mass Education SR Dash.

However, the Board of Secondary Education has decided that the overall rating on each job will be 100 points, Dash said, adding that 20 points will be evaluated based on the percentage obtained by an examinee out of the 80 points given on a particular job. . .

The state government had said on Saturday that the annual board exam for students in class 10 will take place May 3-15.

The results will be announced within 45 to 50 days, the minister said, adding that the government has already issued a notification for the opening of schools for students in classes 10 and 11 as of January 8.
