Shortly after Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announced that the 2021 Board exam would begin on May 4, a ‘fake’ date sheet for the 12th and 10th class exams began to appear. circulate on social media platforms. The date sheet is supposedly issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). However, the fact check by GDP has shown that the viral date sheet is false.

PIB took to Twitter and reported the fake news as it read: “A date sheet for the 2020-21 class 12 and 10 exams allegedly issued by the CBSE is in circulation on social media. This date sheet is fake. Although, Dr. RP Nishank has announced that the Class 10 and 12 Board Exams will be held from May 4 to June 10, 2021 ”.





On December 31, Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announced the dates of the CBSE board examinations. Based on the CBSE 2021 exam dates, the board exams for classes 10 and 12 will begin on May 4 and continue until June 10, 2021. The practical exams, according to the upcoming CBSE board exam dates 2021, will begin on March 1.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the dates for CBSE board examinations have been postponed. The CBSE board exams that usually take place in February or March will now take place in May. Schools were allowed to take practical exams on their own for both Class 10 and Class 12 from March 1 and continue until the beginning of theory work.

The CBSE 2021 Board exams will be conducted in center-based pen and paper mode. Class 10 and 12 date sheets will be posted on the official website cbse.nic.in. The CBSE 2021 date sheets will mention the schedule of all upcoming CBSE 2021 practical and theory exams.
