‘No vaccine belongs to any political party’: Omar Abdullah after Akhilesh Yadav rejected the Covid-19 vaccine

He also said it would be better for the country and the economy if more people were vaccinated.

Earlier, Akhilesh Yadav had said that he would not be vaccinated and that he does not trust the ‘BJP vaccine’. “I am not going to get vaccinated for now. How can I trust the BJP vaccine? When our government is formed, everyone will get the vaccine for free. We can’t take the BJP vaccine, ”he said.

Omar Abdullah responded, saying that the coronavirus has been “too disturbing” and that he would be willing to take one if vaccines restored normality. “I don’t know about anyone else, but when my turn comes, I will happily roll up my sleeves and get the COVID vaccine. This damn virus has been too disruptive and if a vaccine helps to achieve a semblance of normalcy after all the chaos, then I sign up, ”he said.

He also said that the vaccines do not belong to any political party and it would be better for the economy if more people were vaccinated. “The more people are vaccinated, the better it will be for the country and the economy. No vaccine belongs to any political party, they belong to humanity and the sooner we vaccinate vulnerable people, the better ”, he added.
