Mohali police registered a case against unidentified persons on Saturday after a printed poster announced a bounty for killing the captain of the Punjab CM, Amarinder Singh.

The city of Mohali SP reported that the poster placed on a guide map was seen on Thursday and announced a $ 1 million reward for killing the Punjab CM, ANI reported.

FIR has been registered under Sections 504, 506 and 120B of the IPC and Sections 3, 4, 5 of the Punjab Property Damage Prevention Ordinance Act, 1997, reportedly said Mohali City SP.

A senior police official said that the investigation of the case was underway after the FIR was registered and that the defendant would be caught soon. Police are scanning CCTV footage of the area to take the culprit for a nap, according to a Tribune report.
