India vs Australia: Ravichandran Ashwin and Rohit Sharma were involved in a hilarious joke about Cheteshwar Pujara being ‘too rigid’ in a picture posted by the spinner on Tuesday.

Veteran Ravichandran Ashwin, with scores of 3/35 and 2/71, was one of India’s best in the Boxing Day event that recently concluded, with the visitors winning by 8 wickets on Day 4. Hosts Australia and India they are now level at 1-1 in the 4-game test series in Australia.
After winning the second test, Ravichandran Ashwin took to Instagram to post a photo with his Indian teammates Ravindra Jadeja, Umesh Yadav, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane and Jasprit Bumrah. Indian cricketers posed in front of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) board of honor.
In the picture, everyone is smiling and relaxed, but despite the smile on Cheteshwar Pujara’s face, he was standing in a pose of ‘attention’ unlike his other teammates. Rohit Sharma, who is currently in quarantine at Syndey and is supposed to join the Indian team before the third test, wrote a cheeky comment about Pujara. ‘Pujara too stiff’: Rohit Sharma wrote in the image posted by Ravichandran Ashwin.
In response to Rohit Sharma’s comment, Ashwin wrote: “the national anthem was playing in his head !!”
The lighthearted jokes among cricketers show the positive mindset on the Indian field after India’s resounding 8-field victory in Melbourne on Tuesday. Australia and India are set to play the third round at Syndey, starting on January 7.
