AR Rahman was quite close to his mother. In an old interview, he had said that his mother is musically inclined and that she is much taller than him spiritually. In fact, it was his mother who encouraged him to pursue music.
On the work front, AR Rahman composed music for all eight Dil Bechara songs by Mukesh Chhabra. The composer paid a musical tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput before the premiere of the film. The next films that will feature his music are Atrangi Re, Mimi, Cobra and 99 Songs.
