President Ram Nath Kovind, who is on a four-day visit to Diu’s Union Territory, shared a video of him jogging on Ghoghla Beach this morning. The video was accompanied with a message to the nation to lead a healthy lifestyle.
“As we enter 2021, after a difficult year that has put us all to the test, let’s stand up together and make an effort to stay fit and healthy. May the coming year bring good health and prosperity into our lives,” wrote Rashtrapati Bhavan in the tweet. showing the president jogging on the virgin beach. The president, who arrived in the Union territory on Friday, will depart for Delhi today at noon.

President Kovind visited Ghoghla Beach on Sunday and opened a sound and light show at Diu Fort, authorities said.
The president was overwhelmed by the beauty and cleanliness of Ghoghla Beach, which recently received the “Blue Flag” certification from the Danish Foundation for Environmental Education, according to an official statement.
President Kovind inaugurated and laid the foundation for several projects on Saturday.
These included the inauguration of – the first academic session of the IIIT Vadodara-International Campus Diu; laying the first stone of a school; improvement of 1.3 kilometers of heritage walk on the Diu wall; development of a comprehensive urban solid waste management system for the entire urban and rural area of Diu, among others.
