Superstar Salman Khan, on his 55th birthday, said that his next film ‘Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai’ will hit theaters on Eid 2021 as long as the stage is safe for people to come to theaters in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic. Directed by Prabhudheva, ‘Radhe’ was scheduled to hit Indian screens during the festival on May 22 this year, but was delayed in the wake of the current health crisis.

When asked about the imminent release of ‘Radhe …’, Khan said he wants the film to open on Eid 2021, but the date is not yet locked.

“‘Radhe …’ will be released when necessary. The situation is dire now … when people start returning to theaters and when they have money to spend on entertainment …”

“We had committed to the publication of Eid last year and we will soon commit to this Eid. If everything is clear, we will publish it this Eid or publish it when necessary,” he told reporters.

Khan, who is at his Panvel country home with his family, was interacting with select media on his 55th birthday.

“The premiere of ‘Radhe’ is not more important than the health and safety of the audience,” emphasized the actor.

“The important thing is that when we release ‘Radhe’ everyone should be sure that time in theaters. And God forbid, if something happens it will not be acceptable. We will have to plan it successfully,” he said.

“COVID-19 is increasing everywhere. It is still here and it will be here tomorrow as well,” he added.

‘Radhe’ also stars Disha Patani and Randeep Hooda.
