2011 World Cup winner India captain MS Dhoni has been named ICC ODI’s Team of the Decade skipper. MS Dhoni was also previously appointed as a patron of the ICC T20I Team of the Decade.
There are two other Indian players to make the ODI team of the decade list and that is Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. India, with three players on the list, leads the XI in play.

There are two Australians on the list: starting hitter David Warner and fast pitcher Mitchell Starc.
The only other country that has more than one player on the list is South Africa. Villiers’ AB hitter and spinner Imran Tahir have made the Proteas roster.
The other players on the list include off-roader Shakib Al-Hasan from Bangladesh. He’s been rewarded for his overall skills, having led the off-road list for most of the decade.
The only Englishman to make the list is Ben Stokes, who was the hero during the 2019 World Cup and played a key role in England winning their first trophy.
Fast pitcher Trent Boult is the only New Zealand player to make the list, with Sri Lanka’s Lasith Malinga the last member of the XI player.
India captain Mithali Raj and speed bowler Jhulan Goswami made the ICC Women’s ODI Team of the Decade. The team is captained by Australian veteran Meg Lanning.
