Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank will announce exam dates for CBSE Councils 2021 on December 31 at 6pm. The minister made these announcements on his Twitter account on Friday.
“Important announcements for students and parents! I am going to announce the test date for students taking the #CBSE board exams in 2021. Stay tuned, ”he tweeted.
On December 22, while interacting with teachers in a webinar, the education minister had announced that the board examinations will not be held until February 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the dates will be announced after considering the situation. He also said that the dates will be announced much earlier so that students have enough time to prepare for their exam.
“In January the practical exams would begin and normally the exams would take place from mid-February to mid-March. Based on these conditions, I can say that it will not be possible to take exams in the months of January or February. We have decided that. However, after this period, we will hold consultations and make a final decision, ”the minister had said.
