“I am ashamed to have associated with the party for 21 years”: Suvendu Adhikari

Suvendu Adhikari, recently inducted leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal, said on Saturday that he was ashamed to have been associated with the Trinamool Congress (TMC) for so long in his career.
Addressing party workers in the BJP office, Adhikari said: “The political party that I had previously associated with has no discipline now. It has become a one-party enterprise. I am ashamed to have associated with the party for 21 years. “.
The former West Bengal minister said West Bengal needs the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. “It is due to the self-sacrifice of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee that we were able to live in West Bengal. Only the combination of the BJP government in the center and that in Bengal can lead the state towards economic development and tackle the problem of unemployment,” he added. Mr. Adhikari emphasized.
“I would like to thank our Interior Minister, Amit Shahji, for accepting us in the land of Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar on Saturday. The BJP is the largest political party in the world. Adhikari further accused the TMC-led West Bengal government of depriving 73 lakh of state farmers by failing to implement PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi’s policy.
He stated: “BJP workers have been beaten mercilessly. Bogus cases have been framed against them. 135 workers have sacrificed their lives to lead the party’s rule in West Bengal.”
Suvendu Adhikari, former TMC and MLA minister, joined the BJP in the presence of Union Interior Minister Amit Shah at a rally in Midnapore, West Bengal, on December 19.
