In view of the mutant coronavirus, Greater Mumbai Municipal Commissioner IS Chahal announced on Monday evening that passengers arriving from the UK will be mandatorily quarantined for seven days in hotels and those with symptoms will be sent to SevenHills Hospital.

He also announced that air passengers arriving in Mumbai from other European countries will have to remain in mandatory home quarantine for 14 days. Passengers showing any symptoms will be sent to GT Hospital for additional treatment.
