Choreographer and YouTuber Dhanashree Verma and cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal tied the knot on Gurugram on Tuesday. The two were married in a Hindu ceremony at the Karma Lake resort.
A photo of the newlyweds appeared on the internet shortly after. While Dhanashree wore a brown lehenga, Yuzvendra accessorized her with an ivory sherwani with a brown turban.
Dhanashree had previously told the Hindustan Times that Yuzvendra had proposed to her and she “happily agreed.” Speaking of how they met, Dhanashree said: “It started as a student-teacher relationship in April. He had seen my dance videos on YouTube and knew my work. During the confinement, Yuzi decided to learn some new things, including dancing. So, he contacted me and we started our classes. We slowly became friends and felt a kind of connection. ”
Yuzvendra had shared the photos from her roka ceremony in August. He wrote in the caption: “We said ‘Yes’ together with our #rokaceremony families.” The two posed for some photos and were seen along with their relatives in one of them. A basket full of goodies in red wrapping paper was also kept in front of them. While Dhanashree had worn a lavender lehenga, Yuzvendra had chosen a beige kurta for the day.

Speaking more about how he managed to win her heart, she had said: “Yuzi is humble, down to earth, friendly and a total family man. His humility blew me away. The kind of values I was raised with, I actually wanted someone like him as my life partner. We are both ambitious and we rely on each other’s profession. We are both fun loving so there will never be a dull moment. “
