KOLKATA: In the midst of the increasingly intense struggle between the BJP and the TMC in west bengal before the assembly elections, NCP supreme Sharad Pawar has joined several other opposition leaders in siding with the prime minister Mamata banerjee in his battle against the saffron field and the Center.
Trinamool Congress Sources said on Monday that the party is considering organizing a mega rally by opposition leaders in Calcutta as part of its effort to shore up an anti-BJP front, but nothing has been finalized so far.

A senior TMC leader said the party plans to hold a mega anti-BJP rally before the assembly elections.
