The gap between AIADMK and BJP allies has widened and the comment of Tamil Nadu BJP Vice President K Annamalai is a testament to this.

While addressing the public in Coimbatore as part of the statewide Tamil Nadu BJP campaign explaining the various benefits of the Center’s agricultural reform laws, Annamalai attacked the ruling party saying that Tamil Nadu’s policy is nothing more than the looting of public money during his regime and later. indulging them with a 2,000 rupee subsidy during the elections.

During her speech in the town of Karuthampatti in Coimbatore, Annamalai highlighted several congratulations from the NDA government and said that the Prime Minister has great respect for Tamil Nadu and its people and that it is time for us (the people of Tamil Nadu) let us return love in elections through voting. BJP.

“Tamil Nadu politics is looting people’s money and giving them 2,000 rupees during the elections. Modi’s policy is different. Over the past six years, Modi’s policy has been improving the livelihoods of the economically weak sector, empowering women and benefiting farmers by depositing Rs 6,000 in their bank accounts. If you’re not voting for BJP, politicians who keep serial headlights, salute car tires, will only get elected. They will be seen in your area only during the elections, ”he said.

Annamalai further said that the people of Tamil Nadu are priceless and that they should not pledge their lives for five years for the 2,000 rupee subsidy. This comment comes from the BJP camp two days after the state government announced 2,500 rupees and a gift basket with raw rice, sugar, sugar cane, etc., as a Pongal gift for each of the rice card holders. from January 4.

AIADMK MLA Semmalai said making false accusations will not help Annamalai’s political career. “We do not take Annamalai’s comment seriously. We have been providing the gift of Pongal for many years, it is not a new thing. Their comments show their lack of knowledge, ”he said.

Earlier on Saturday, Tamil Nadu BJP President L Murugan caused unrest in the AIADMK camp by saying that the alliance will continue with the ruling party in Tamil Nadu, but that only the national leadership will decide the CM candidate in the next elections to the assembly. This comment comes from Murugan after the AIADMK executive body announced that Edappadi K Palaniswami will remain their CM candidate.

In reaction to Murugan’s comment, senior AIADMK leaders raised strong objections. Minister Sellur Raju, former MP Anwar Raja, said that people who wish to continue in the AIADMK-led alliance should accept Edappadi as the CM candidate. “It is AIADMK who needs to decide its CM candidate, not BJP. We competed alone in 2016 and won the majority. We had already decided on our CM candidate at the executive body meeting, if people refuse to accept our decision, how can they continue in our alliance? Raja asked.

AIADMK spokesman Pugazhendhi said that no party will tolerate these comments from the alliance partners, adding that Murugan should think before speaking or else the BJP high command will be forced to remove him as state president.

Meanwhile, CM Palaniswami, after participating in the Christmas celebrations on Sunday, said that alliance and ideology are different. “Each party will have an ideology. AIADMK has its own ideology and will act according to it. The ideology will remain permanent, ”he said.
