Crime in Delhi: Minor in 4 arrested for raping a teenage girl in Delhi’s Great Kailash | Delhi News


NEW DELHI: Police in the southern district detained four people, including a less, of course rape a 14-year-old girl on Saturday night.
The incident was reported from Great Kailash, DCP (south) Atul Thakur said. The girl and the minor defendant used to work in a house in GK-I, but the defendant had left work last month.
The police have also searched the owner of the house for employing a minor.
On Sunday, police received a call from PCR about the incident.
The girl’s statement was recorded in which she said that she has been working as a house helper in GK-I for the past four months. She and the minor accused became friends while working and kept in contact even after the boy left work.
On December 19, the minor accused called her at her friend’s workplace in GK. Three others were present there as well, he said. The three people were identified as Shivam, Harishankar and Mangesh, police said. “The minor supposedly broken her with the help of her associates, ”said an officer.
An FIR for gang rape and illegal confinement and under the Protection of Children against Sexual Offenses Act (POCSO) was registered against all defendants.
While the three main defendants were brought before a court and sent to Tihar in judicial custody, the minor was brought before the juvenile justice board and sent to a reform house.
