Edinson Cavani showed his class with a respectful band exchange with Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa on Sunday night.
Bielsa is a huge fan of the Uruguayan and actually wanted to sign him in the summer, but he missed it, and the forward went to United.
“Cavani could contribute his physique and adapt here, but I have never discussed him with the coach [Bielsa]Andrea Radrizzani, owner of Leeds, said in July. “Having said that, we’ve certainly thought about it and we’ll see, given that it’s still available as a free transfer.”
Fans saw the exchange at Old Trafford, with many taking to Twitter to comment on it.
“Cavani and Bielsa have a friendly little chat before the second half begins. Smiles. Second best moment in the game so far,” wrote one fan.

Another added: “Cavani showing respect to Bielsa.”
Cavani has a reputation for being a lovable character from his days at Paris Saint-Germain.
An excerpt from his autobiography; El Matador, by Romain Molina, sums it up.
It says: “One day, he did a photoshoot for Hugo Boss, who is a partner at PSG,” the excerpt reads. At the end of the session, Cavani asks for a reference to a costume that he likes. The photographer tells him he can take it, a brand manager confirms it.
But Cavani refuses, explaining that he makes a lot of money and that he doesn’t need a gift. I just wanted to know the reference to buy the same.
“It took two and at Hugo Boss, it was the first time we saw a PSG player do that. It’s a little trick. But only Cavani does it.
“I used to often go to eat with the club employees and not with the ‘stars’. I used to always talk to the cleaning ladies, to the housekeepers.
“Do you realize that Cavani spent a month in his hometown in Salto while on vacation? In the middle of winter there! It was 7 degrees and he arrived by regional bus.
“Six hours by car! When you earn 16 million euros a year, it is not common.”
