Suvendu Adhikari writes a letter to TMC workers; asks them to join him

Former Trinamool Congress leader Suvendu Adhikari wrote a letter to party workers on Saturday asking them to join him and “start a new beginning.” In the letter, Adhikari, who recently resigned from TMC and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party, said: “Our fight is to restore West Bengal to its glory.”

When shooting West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, he alleged that the TMC is now full of people who care for no one but themselves. He also stated that the party was not built in a day with the input of one person. It was an ongoing effort on a gigantic scale, culminating in the coming to power of the TMC in West Bengal in 2011, he wrote.

Political heavyweight Suvendu Adhikari joined the BJP today at Interior Minister Amit Shah’s rally in Midnapore. During the rally, Adhikari vowed to topple the Banerjee regime in the upcoming 2021 assembly elections in West Bengal.

He also alleged that the TMC wants to divide the state along the lines of “internal” and “external”, while the BJP believes in nationalism and pluralism. “It is a shame to the TMC for such a narrow policy,” Adhikari said as well.

“Those who themselves (TMC) are traitors call me a traitor. If the BJP hadn’t been there, TMC would never have existed. In the next assembly elections, BJP will win Bengal and TMC will be defeated, ”he also said.

Adhikari resigned from the Trinamool Congress earlier this week. He was the legislator for Nandigram in the East Midnapore district. Along with Adhikari, nine other members of the board of directors from different parties and a deputy from TMC also joined the BJP.

On Friday, Mamata Banerjee held a closed-door meeting at her residence to take stock of the situation, where she assured the party leaders not to “worry about desertions” since the people of the state are with them, the government agency reported. PTI news.

“Our party supreme during the meeting told us not to worry about desertions, as it is good that the rotten elements are leaving the party alone. He said the defectors were baggage for the party, ”PTI reported citing a senior TMC leader.
