Speaking to ANI, Dr. Sachin Singh, a doctor at the hospital, said the woman was given clearance to perform the ritual on the hospital premises.
“The woman had accidentally fallen from the ceiling so there was a minor injury to her spine. Her legs cannot move from now on. Since she was about to get married, we have given her permission to perform the rituals. We have also given her permission. advised me to avoid locomotion of the legs, “Singh said.
“It is beautiful to see the bride and groom marry even though the bride is bedridden,” he added.
Mr. Awdhesh, the groom says: “What happened was fate. I have decided to be with her and support her in times of trouble.”
Mr. Aarti, the girlfriend, says: “At first, I was a little apprehensive. But later, my husband told me that he would be there for me even if I didn’t recover. I was happy to know that.”
Family members of the couple were seen offering their blessings at the hospital itself.
