The 21st day of the ongoing protest by farmers demanding the repeal of farm laws saw a crucial development as the Supreme Court has now intervened. While the protesters are determined that talks with the Center will continue only when the Center agrees to withdraw the laws, the Center also maintained its position that protesting farmers are deceived.

On Wednesday, the Supreme Court indicated that it could form a committee to resolve the deadlock.

> When asking the Center for the names of the unions blocking the roads, he said it can give the names of the organizations that are in talks with the Center.
> The government will not do anything that is against the interests of farmers, the law enforcement official said during the hearing.
> The state trade union trade minister Som Prakash welcomed the higher court’s decision and said the Center wants to solve the farmers’ problem quickly. “The farmers and the government will express their views in the committee, which is good. Whatever the final decision SC makes tomorrow on the matter, we will act accordingly, ”said the minister.
