Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Pinki said she was tortured in the foster home, ‘Nari Niketan’, for three days and when her condition deteriorated, she was sent to hospital where doctors gave her injections that eventually took her to a hospital. spontaneous abortion.

“I was tortured in the Nari Niketan for three days, after which I developed abdominal pain. At first they didn’t listen to me but when my condition worsened they took me to the hospital, and then the doctors gave me injections. Once the injections were administered, I started to bleed a lot. Yesterday after my statement in the CJM court, my condition deteriorated once more, “he said, adding that he was given an injection for the first time on December 11, after which he began to bleed slightly.” After two days, they gave me four injections along with some medicine that started to bleed, “he added.

The woman told the court that she was an adult when she married Rashid, a Muslim, according to her own wish. She also asked that her husband and brother-in-law be released soon. “The law helped me a lot, I would like to ask for the release of my husband and brother-in-law as soon as possible. I got married of my own free will on July 24 this year in Dehradun,” she said.

However, the chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Child Protection Commission, Dr. Vishesh Gupta, dismissed the allegations of a miscarriage and said that Pinki was transferred to the District Women’s Hospital from the foster home after she complained. of an abdominal stomach and is currently undergoing treatment.

On December 6, Pinki and Rashid were going to register their marriage when Bajrang Dal activists handed her over to the Kanth Police Station police, who then sent the woman to a shelter and arrested her husband and brother-in-law on charges. of forced conversion.
