Indian Railways prepares to organize mega recruiting drive to fill 1.4 lakh vacancies


NEW DELHI: The Indian Railways, through its 21 Railway Recruitment Boards (RRB), is organizing a mega recruiting campaign in three phases starting Tuesday to fill around 1.4 lakh of vacancies.
The Ministry of Railways, in a statement dated December 11, 2020, declared that more than 2.44 million candidates will appear in different cities of the country to participate in the recruitment campaign.
According to the official statement, the first phase of the exam will begin from December 15 to December 18, 2020, for isolated and ministerial categories. This will be followed by the NTPC categories from December 28 to tentatively through March 2021 and the third recruitment for Level-1 from tentatively from April 2020 onwards through the end of June 2021.
The RRBs have made extensive preparations to conduct examinations of this large scale in times of the COVID-19 pandemic following standard operating procedures established by the government that guarantee social distancing, mandatory use of masks, disinfectants, and reduced shifts. for exams just two shifts per day.

Information in this regard will also be sent to their registered email and mobile phone number regarding rescheduling of such candidates. The exact date of the rescheduled examination of such Candidates will be intimidated later. Candidate must wear their own face mask. Candidate must submit Covid-19 self-declaration in the format prescribed at entry and, in the absence thereof, will not be will allow you to enter the exam site.
