RRB NTPC CBT-1 2020: Amid technical recession and mass layoffs, the latest update from Indian Railways will cheer job seekers on. On December 11, Railways announced the recruiting bonanza to be carried out by the 21 Indian Railways Contracting Boards. Dates for the computer-based test, also known as CBT, have been announced. According to the statement issued by Indian Railway, the exams will be conducted for vacancies of 1.4 lakh. The latest updates suggest that nearly 2.5 million candidates will appear for these CBT-1 exams.

What is the date of the RRB NTPC CBT-1 exams?
Indian Railways says that the first phase of the exam will begin from December 15 and will end on December 18. The first phase is for CEN (isolated and ministerial categories).
The second phase of the CEN (NTPC categories) will begin from December 28 to March next year. The third and final recruitment campaign will end in June next year.

When can applicants download admission cards?
Details such as exam center, exam city, exam date and exam time will be sent via email and sms. The messages will be sent to the candidates to the phone number and email registered at the time of taking the exams.

What will be the time period for the CBT-1 exams?
Since it is a computer test, candidates will have 90 minutes to answer the questions.

What’s new in CBT-1 exams this time?
Since the exams are being conducted in times of the coronavirus pandemic, all candidates will be required to follow the mandatory Covid protocols. All examination centers will be disinfected. All candidates will be allowed entry only when they pass the body temperature limits. Masks are essential for every candidate. In case the candidate’s body temperature is above the prescribed limits, they will not be allowed into the examination room.
