During his webinar on December 10 (Thursday), Ramesh Pokhriyal noted that the Center pledged to give equal importance to the education and safety of students amid the COVID-19 outbreak and assured that all measures will be taken in this regard.
“For us, your education and your safety are equally important to us. First, your safety is important, and then next to that, there is your education. The little inconvenience that the students have experienced during the confinement will eventually go away.” Pokhriyal said.
The Union minister also informed students that the CBSE has been working towards taking the board examinations in 2021. “Taking into account the many concerns, the CBSE has reduced the curriculum for the board examinations of the classes 10 and 12 in 2021 by 30% “, added the minister of the Union. .
According to Pokhriyal, stakeholder consultations are underway to finalize the dates of the CBSE Class 10, 12 board exams and the dates will be announced soon.
“The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not yet made a decision on the dates of the board exams, including practical ones. In case students are unable to practice in classes before the exams, alternatives to practical exams will be explored. ” he said.
