Visit as backdrop of BjpGo up in Telangana
KCR’s visit comes in the context of the BJP’s rise in Greater Hyderabad, which has 24 constituencies and five Lok Sabha seats, and its direct appeal to voters to ‘save Hyderabad’ from divisive forces, though he did not name any party.
KCR’s Delhi tour has also become a major point of contention in political circles after its harsh remarks against the BJP-led NDA government at the Center during the recent GHMC elections and his announcement to form a federal front as an alternative to the BJP in the Center. KCR has also criticized the Center for being biased in terms of disbursement of funds to BJP-ruled states while neglecting Telangana.
