The government has aligned cold storage facilities with temperatures between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius, said VK Paul, who heads the COVID-19 vaccine administration expert group advising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Reuters news agency reported. .
Requests for emergency use of the vaccines being made by the Serum Institute of India and Bharat Biotech were not approved earlier this week by a committee of health experts. Both companies have been asked to present more data at the next meeting, the date of which has not yet been decided.
