Haryana Schools To Reopen For Senior Classes Next Week, Covid Report Should

Classes for grades 9 and 11 will begin on December 21 (Representative)

Chandigarh:

Physical classes for seniors in Haryana will resume from next week, the state government reported. Students must present medical certificates that do not have more than 72 hours to attend classes, reads a government note.

“It has been decided that students in classes 10 and 12 will be able to attend their public or private schools from December 14 for three hours a day, between 10 in the morning and 1 in the afternoon,” said the Directorate of School Education in a circular.

Classes for grades 9 and 11 will begin on December 21, he added.

Students from schools and universities have been taking classes online as physical classes were banned in March by the central government to prevent the spread of the coronavirus among students. However, the Center, a few weeks ago, allowed states to decide if they wanted to resume physical classes.

Many states were unable to resume physical classes due to a sudden increase in the number of Covid during the holiday season.
