Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen offered his verdict on Barcelona’s 3-0 loss to Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday.
It was another difficult night for Ronald Koeman’s men, who were beaten and lost first place to Juventus in their last group match.
Ter Stegen spoke about where his team had gone wrong after the game and how they will try to fix things.
“We made mistakes that cannot happen. We are in a phase where if we make a mistake, we concede a goal. We have not managed to have the touch of green in that sense.
“We have to get out of this dynamic and work hard, what we are doing, to get out of this situation. We have to start the strongest matches.
“We wanted to pass as group champions, but we cannot say that we have done badly so far in the Champions League. We played well and won some tough games.
“We have to focus on the league and try to recover as many points as possible and see how we do. We are not where we want to be in the table, but we have games in hand and we can recover some points. That is the objective, to score points at home and not lose more points ”.

It’s another poor performance from Barcelona, who went back to fighting defensively and rarely seemed to score. Koeman struggles to lift his players ahead of Sunday’s La Liga clash against Levante.
