The sangeet, which was in the Udaivilas Palace in Udaipur, was attended by Chiranjeevi, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan and many others.
In a forest green draped skirt with a ruffled blouse, actress and producer Niharika Konidela rocked the dance floor with her fiancé Jonnalageda Chaitanya, who wore a cream embroidered Sherwani, on Monday. The duo danced to their uncle Chiranjeevi’s popular Bavagaru Bagunnara song in their sangeet at the Udaivilas Palace in Udaipur. The couple will get married at the same location on December 9.
The pre-wedding celebrations have started since December 5, and photos of them have been on social media. The sangeet performance featured Niharika and Chaitanya dancing and spending gala time with their loved ones. Niharika’s outfit was designed by Shantanu and Nikhil, and her makeup was done by the famous artist Sandy.
Niharika is the daughter of Naga Babu and the niece of megastar Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. The entire Konidela family had arrived in Udaipur well in advance. Photos and videos from the event show the wedding party celebrating and having fun. Several videos from the show also show the wedding couple dancing.
Actor and politician Pawan Kalyan, Niharika’s uncle, missed the event while protesting with farmers affected by Cyclone Nivar in Andhra Pradesh, demanding immediate relief.
However, most of Niharika’s relatives such as actors Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, and Chiranjeevi participated in the sangeet. The star took special chartered flights on Monday to attend the wedding.

On Tuesday, Chiranjeevi shared an old photo of Niharika and wrote: “Niharika, the girl who grew up in our hands will marry Chaitanya. On this happy occasion, I congratulate the future couple in advance. God bless you!”
Niharika’s father, Naga Babu, also a member of the Jana Sena Party, shared a glimpse of the sangeet with a video.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the wedding, like several celebrity weddings, will be an intimate ceremony with select individuals. Only 120 people were reportedly invited to the wedding.
Niharika got engaged to Chaitanya in August at a luxurious hotel in Hyderabad. Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, and Sai Dharam Tej attended the engagement, following physical distancing protocols.
Niharika, started her career as a TV presenter and later became a star of web series. He has acted in multiple series produced by his production house, Pink Elephant Pictures. Chaitanya Jonnalagadda is the son of Guntur Police Inspector General J Prabhakar Rao. He is an alumnus of the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad, and currently works at Tech Mahindra as a business strategist.
