In sharing the news, the filmmakers also shared a photo of Alia Bhatt with director SS Rajamouli from the film’s sets, where Alia Bhatt can be seen listening to the director in an interesting way as she is seen narrating something. By sharing the photo, the creators also revealed their character’s name in the film as Sita. The creators are expected to share more photos of the film’s sets.

Directed by filmmaker SS Rajamouli, RRR stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR as the male leads, while Alia Bhatt will be seen as the female lead. Irish actors Alison Doody and Ray Stevenson will be seen playing key roles. The film will be a historical drama, telling the story of the freedom fighters Alluri Seetharamaraju and Komaram Bheem from the pre-independence era.
