Delhi’s positivity rate plummeted to 3.15 percent, according to Delhi’s health minister Satyendar Jain.

The Health Minister further said that this is the lowest positivity rate in six months and urged citizens to continue to practice Covid-19 precautions.

“In one month, positivity decreased to 3.15% today from 15.26% on November 7. During the same period, the positivity of RTPCR dropped to 6.68% from 30.20%. The lowest positivity in the last 6 months. Cases of constant corona and positivity decrease. Hope this continues. Please observe all precautions, ”Satyendar Jain said on Twitter.

Prime Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Sunday: “I am glad that the third wave also appears to be weakening. Delhi waged a difficult war against the crown. “

However, the number of RT-PCR or reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction tests performed on Sunday was lower compared to the number of tests performed on Saturday. The total number of RT-PCR tests performed on Saturday was 32,023, while only 21,362 RT-PCR tests were performed on Sunday. The RT-PCR test is considered more authentic and accurate for covid testing. RT-PCR tests provide more realistic results in contrast to RAT or rapid antigen tests.
