For the first time in Bigg Boss history, two contestants left the house in the same season. While Kavita Kaushik left the house last week, Rahul Vaidya on Sunday made a voluntary departure from Bigg Boss 14.

The popular singer was detained by Salman Khan during the episode of Weekend Ka Vaar for having lost his passion for the show. While Vaidya maintained that it was wrong for everyone to judge him on the outcome of a task, it seems that recent events definitely affected him.

On Sunday, before the four finalists were announced, while interacting with Salman Khan, Rahul mentioned that he was nostalgic. He also shared that he cannot stay away from his family and close friends. Vaidya became very emotional and said that since he did not have a close bond in the house, he felt quite lonely. He chose to leave like this because he didn’t want to “cheat” the show and “disappoint” the creators or the audience.

As readers know, Bigg Boss’s contract has a clause that does not allow anyone to leave the house. However, Salman Khan shared that since a contestant had to leave the house in the final, his decision would not affect him. He also revealed that Vaidya was not the contestant with the lowest votes this week and may have survived the game.

Rahul Vaidya may not have been a favorite when he started Bigg Boss 14, but he did win hearts. Aside from his witty comments and hilarious observations, he also made headlines for bringing up the subject of “nepotism.” While his fight with Jasmin Bhasin and Rubina Dilaik may have made him look like a villain, it was when he proposed to his girlfriend Disha Parmar on national television that Vaidya won hearts. However, according to superstar Salman Khan, since she never responded to him, it affected his mental state and his game.

Before entering Bigg Boss 14, Rahul Vaidya, while speaking to indianexpress.com, had shared that it would be real on the show. Calling himself a quiet person, he said, “I’m not conceited. I make friends easily, although I chose them wisely. I hate fake people and can never fake friendships or relationships for the camera. You have to connect with the heart to create a bond. “

The singer also shared that he will not worry about the image as he is quite comfortable with himself. “I have never shied away from who I am as a person. And I’m fine presenting the same in front of the world. I intend to be myself and not portray an image on the show, ”said Rahul Vaidya.

With the departure of Rahul Vaidya, the four finalists for Bigg Boss 14 are Eijaz Khan, Rubina Dilaik, Jasmin Bhasin and Abhinav Shukla.
