Indicating their readiness to camp along Delhi’s borders for as long as it takes for a reversal of the three controversial farm reform laws, farmers have added another “essential” to the exhaustive list of supplies they carry: a system DJ.
On Friday night, a tractor with a DJ system was spotted on the Singhu border between Delhi and Haryana, one of the five border points with Delhi, where thousands of protesting farmers had been camping in their modified tractors full of rations. , medical supplies and hygiene products. .
“We have been here for the last few days and there is no source of entertainment for us. So, we installed this tractor with a music system,” a farmer told the ANI news agency.
The images show farmers dancing to upbeat music with synchronized red and blue lights. Some even took selfies and made little videos of the tractor modified to look like a wedding band float.

While farmers, including men, women and children of all ages, were known to bring their own ration and stoves, aid organizations have joined in with the installation of portable toilets for women.
A group of farmers, one of hundreds who participated in the protest, arranged an ambulance and boxes full of medicines for various ailments. They even have a doctor to take care of medical emergencies.
As the protest, now in its 11th day, intensifies across the country amid a call for a non-violent Bharat Bandh on December 8, a third round of talks is expected today between the government and representatives of the farmers.
Two rounds of talks this week failed.
This is the largest farmer protest in years and the numbers continue to rise on Delhi’s borders amid the new coronavirus pandemic, which has affected more than 96 lakh people across India.
