Under a normal calendar, the CBSE announces the date sheet for board exams in November and conducts Class 10, 12 board exams in February and March. However, this year the schedule for the X, XII class board exam is still awaited. Teachers, students and parents are hopeful that a big announcement will be made on the matter on December 10, as the Minister of Education will address all their concerns in a live interaction on Twitter and Facebook. Pokhriyal had also asked interested parties to submit their concerns, suggestions and opinions on the conduct of the board, as well as on other contests, including NEET and JEE. Meanwhile, students have begun raising concerns about the board exams on social media ahead of the scheduled live session. One Twitter user writes: “Sir Project’s work for class 12 should be canceled and the time saved should be devoted to physical classes. Sir, we need at least 3 months of offline classes to be well prepared for the CBSE exams ”.

In accordance with the CBSE curriculum, Class XII students are asked to submit annual projects, for which a live session is held and multiple classes are required. But this year the same has not been possible, as schools across the country remain closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Another student spoke of practical exams, for which he did not receive adequate training. “We don’t know what to do in practice, how we are supposed to do it, cancel practical exams and meetings. It cannot be done on the spot, ”said the user.
CBSE Board Exam 2021: What We Know So Far:
Last month, CBSE Secretary Anurag Tripathi confirmed that the board examinations will take place in 2021 and the dates will be announced soon. “Board examinations will be conducted safely and a schedule will be announced very soon. The CBSE is making plans and will reveal soon how it will do the mock assessments, ”he said during a webinar on“ New Education Policy (NEP): A Brighter Future for School Education ”organized by ASSOCHAM.
Speaking to TOI, the Minister of Education had also confirmed that board examinations would be conducted as it is important for admission to higher education institutions.
A campaign will be launched to seek input from students, parents, and teachers on how and when to take the board tests next year. “The Ministry of Education will launch a campaign to gather opinions from students, parents and teachers on how and when to take the exams next year,” tweeted the Minister of Education.
A couple of days ago, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) confirmed that the twelfth exam of the Board 2021 would be taken offline.
It is speculated that the CBSE practical exams could begin in January. Several reports had claimed that the board had published the tentative dates for the class XII practical exam. According to the call, the practical exams will be held from January 1 to February 8.
The Delhi government had requested the central board to postpone the March 2021 board examinations until May. He had also called for the study program to be shortened, as schools are still closed.
