New Delhi:

Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will host a live interaction with students and parents on December 10, 2020, to discuss issues related to upcoming CBSE competitive and board exams, including JEE Main and NEET 2021. He has invited students to share their queries or suggestions with him. Previously, the webinar was scheduled for December 3 and was postponed.

To announce the postponement, Mr. Pokhriyal took to Twitter and said: “Dear all, 2020 has been a year of many changes, like adapting to online education, adapting to the new normal. Happy to share that I will be live on December 10th to speak with you about upcoming competitive / board exams. Please leave your concerns below using #EducationMinisterGoesLive. “

Students and parents across the country have been sharing their concerns about CBSE Board exam dates on Twitter and other social media platforms using #EducationMinisterGoesLive.

Most of the concerns relate to taking exams online and few parents request exams offline. One of the students applied to take CBSE Board exams online, considering the increase in COVID-19 cases.

“#EducationMinisterGoesLive This pandemic has affected many of the studies. Class 12 boards are the most important. But due to this regular increase in Corona cases, I request to advertise the forums online rather than advertise them offline, ”tweeted one student.

While another student requested a reduction in the curriculum, as he said, “It is a humble request to the concerned authorities to postpone the Class 12 board examinations to May or more, taking into account the deteriorating situation of COVID -19. A further reduction in the curriculum is also kindly requested ”.

NEET 2021 applicants are equally concerned about the uncertainty regarding the exam, as many students ask about exam dates.

One of the Twitter users asked: “When will NTA take the NEET UG 2021 exam? And when will the admission start? Has the Neet if syllabus been reduced to the year 2021 or not sir?”

Students also appeared to be concerned about the practical exams, as they could not be taken online. One of the Twitter users said, “Sir, please indicate the proper dates for the NEET and board exams soon. It would be better if the board exams were postponed until April-May and the NEETs until June. And tell us how they will be conducted. practical exams, since online classes don’t help much. “

This year, due to the ongoing pandemic, educational institutes had to take their admission tests online, which created several logistical problems for students and their parents. Students had faced various challenges during this year’s online exams for multiple reasons, such as poor internet connectivity, inaccessibility to mobile phones or computers, and had requested a retest in certain cases.

Some of them are also requesting not to delay the testing process so that students can start their new academic session on time.
