HYDERABAD: Nizamabad MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha feels that it is unfair of opposition parties to blame Telangana Rashtra Samithi for the low voter turnout in GHMC polls.

Speaking to journalists on Wednesday after holding bids in Patabazar Shivalayam, together with civil supplies minister Gangula Kamalakar in Karimnagar, he expressed confidence that the ruling TRS would win 100 seats in the corporate elections.

The MLC criticized the BJP state chairman and local MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar for failing to sanction a single rupee for the development of the Karimnagar Lok Sabha constituency.

He noted that it was Minister Kamalakar who played a key role in the development of Karimnagar by earning Rs. 1,000 million rupees penalized for it.
