Before Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Mumbai, CM Uddhav Thackeray warned about taking businesses ‘by force’

Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday he warned that he will not allow anyone “by force” to take business from the state. Comment comes ahead of UP CM Yogi AdityanathThe visit to the city and his meeting with some eminent personalities of Bollywood.

Incidentally, the leader of Congress, Sachin Sawant, had recently alleged that there has been a conspiracy to move the Hindi film industry out of Mumbai. In September, Adityanath had announced an ambitious plan to establish “one of the largest movie cities” in UP, amid the Sushant Singh Rajput death case and the Bollywood drug row.

While interacting with mediators at an event, Thackeray said, “We are not jealous if someone progresses, we have no problem with someone progressing if one competes. But if you are going to forcibly remove something then of course I won. That doesn’t happen and you (the industrialists) won’t be willing to go. ”

Without naming names, Thackeray added that ‘some people’ do not know the magnetic force of Maharashtra. “Some people are coming today, they will also meet with all of you and ask you to come (for investments). But they do not know the magnetic force (of Maharashtra). It is so powerful that instead of people going from here to those states, the locals there migrate to our state all the time, “he said.

Adityanath will visit Mumbai on December 2 to ring the bell on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) during the listing of Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) bonds.

Film personalities who will meet UP CM during their visit to Mumbai include Subhash Ghai, Bonny Kapoor, Bhushan Kumar, Randeep Hooda, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Jimmy Shergill, Taran Adarsh, Komal Nahta and Raj Kumar Santoshi, among others .
