Hyderabad under the new Nizam, time to end it, says CM Yogi Adityanath

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Saturday that the Bharatiya Janata Party was the only one with the ability to transform Hyderabad into a “Bhagya Nagar (a wealthy city).”

Addressing the meeting during a road show in Kukatpally as part of the BJP’s campaign in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections, Adityanath accused the Telangana ruler Rashtra Samithi and All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen of stalling the development of Hyderabad for its political achievements. .

“The entire area on the banks of the Musi River in southern Hyderabad has been under invasion by the MIM. We need to give a proper lesson to these descendants of Nizam who have become obstacles to the development of the city, ”said the prime minister.

CM Adityanath reiterated that Hyderabad could be renamed to Bhagyanagar, which was the original name of the city. “Some people asked me if Hyderabad’s name could be changed to Bhagyanagar. Why not? We renamed Faizabad as Ayodhya and Allahabad as Prayagraj after BJP assumed power in Uttar Pradesh. So why can’t Hyderabad be renamed to Bhagyanagar? I ask.

He recalled that Hyderabad had been liberated from the clutches of Nizam’s autocratic rule thanks to Sardar Patel. “Now, the people of Hyderabad are witnessing the Naya Nizam government and the time has come to get rid of it,” he said.

In attacking the TRS government, Adityanath said that all citizens, including businessmen, were upset with the current rule. “The people who have been in the government and the corporation here have nothing to do with the development and basic comforts of the people,” he said.

Claiming that his government in Uttar Pradesh had built houses for 30 lakh people in the state, CM Adityanath sought to know how many houses the TRS government had built in Telangana in the last six years.

“Although the TRS leaders have not kept the promises made in the last GHMC elections, they are making new promises to the voters to mislead them,” he alleged.

The UP prime minister accused the KCR government of distributing flood relief to the people in the form of cash just to help TRS leaders earn a lot of money. “If the government cares about the victims, why didn’t they credit the amount directly to their accounts?” I ask.

He said the BJP was causing change across the country. “After the NDA came to power under the leadership of Narendra Modi, it had removed Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. Ram Mandir’s centennial issue in Ayodhya was resolved peacefully and now, we are building the temple, ”he recalled.

CM Adityanath said that he was very delighted to see the response of the people to his rally and asked people to help the BJP transform Hyderabad into Bhagyanagar.
