Delhi Chalo: DMRC suspends services to Noida, Gurugram until 2pm, check details


In view of the planned protest march by farmers against the Center’s new agricultural laws, Delhi metro services to neighboring cities of the national capital will remain suspended until 2pm on Thursday. On Wednesday, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation issued a statement saying that there will be no metro services available from Anand Vihar to Vaishali and New Ashok Nagar to downtown Noida during this period. Metro services will also be suspended between Sultanpur and Guru Dronacharya metro stations. However, regular metro services will continue to be available throughout the airport section and the Rapid Metro lines during the period. “After 2pm Thursday, train services will resume on all lines from one end to the other without loops regularly,” he added.

“Various farmer organizations have requested permission to protest in Delhi on November 26 and 27. We have communicated to them in writing and through various media also that the protest is not allowed in view of the latest DDMA guidelines,” said PRO Eish Singhal of the Delhi Police. .
