The Delhi Metro Railways Corporation said on Thursday that train services from the National Capital Region (NCR) to Delhi will remain suspended until further orders due to protests from farmers. The metro resumed train services from Delhi to the NCR sections after 2pm on Thursday.
“From 2:00 pm, metro services are available from Delhi to the NCR sections. However, services from NCR sections to Delhi continue to be suspended for security reasons until further notice, ”read the statement issued by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

On Thursday, commuters from Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad and Ghaziabad had a hard time as train services between Delhi and NCR metro stations in seven corridors were closed until 2pm due to the protest.
A DMRC official said: “This has been done at the request of the Delhi police to avoid overcrowding in light of the Covid-19 pandemic. From the morning until 2:00 pm, Metro services will be regulated in various corridors ”.
But train services between Delhi and NCR stations resumed after 2pm.
