Presenting them to the Holiday Magistrate today, the NCB asked for custody of Haarsh (and not Bharti Singh) for 7 days, while arguing that he was the one who acquired the drugs, that the duo were consuming and that his custody is needed. for further investigation.

Both have been charged under the relevant sections of the NDPS, including 20 (b), 20 (ii) (A), 27 for the consumption of “narcotic drug or psychotropic substance. “

Court, while denying custody of Haarsh to NCB, pointed out that the amounts allegedly in possession of the couple were small, the penalty for the alleged crimes alleged is punishable for up to one year only and that the evidence shows that they allegedly only consumed it and are not involved in the street drug sale

Finally, the Court sent them to judicial custody until December 4, 2020.

Attorney Ayaz Khan, represented Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa before the Holiday Magistrate and has also submitted bail requests on their behalf, which will be heard tomorrow by the Esplanade Court, Mumbai.

Prosecutor Atul Sarpande reported that while Haarsh has been sent to Taloja jail, comedian Bharti Singh has been sent to Kalyan jail.
