Telangana registers 873 new cases of COVID-19, 4 deaths

Hyderabad: Telangana saw 873 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total to more than 2.63 lakh, while four deaths brought the figure to 1,430.

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) accounted for the most cases with 152, followed by Medchal Malkajgiri 78 and Rangareddy 71, a government bulletin providing details at 8 p.m. Nov. 21 said Sunday.

Up to 11,643 patients are in treatment and 41,646 samples were analyzed on November 21.

Altogether, almost 51.34 lakh of samples have been analyzed.

The samples analyzed per million inhabitants exceeded 1.38 lakh, according to the bulletin.

The fatality rate in the state was 0.54 percent, while it was 1.5 percent nationally.

The recovery rate in Telangana was 94.03%, while in the country it was 93.7%.
