Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has ‘good news’ for all Dilliwalas amid the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic.
Retweeting the post of Delhi’s Senior Deputy Minister Manish Sisodia, Kejriwal wrote: “What good news for all Dilliwalas. All Dilliwalas have worked so hard in the last six years to make this happen. The world is noticing the positive changes that are taking place. happening in Delhi.
Manish Sisodia has shared an annual report of the best cities in the world. “Congratulations to all the proud people of Delhi and @ArvindKejriwal for leadership. Our beloved Delhi is ranked 62nd in the best cities in the world. The only Indian city on the list,” tweeted the deputy CM of Delhi.
Sisodia also said that there is a significant improvement over the previous ranking, which was 81 before.
What the ‘best cities in the world’ report says
To give you a little cheer, Delhi appeared at position 62 on this list of the best cities in the world for 2021.
The ranking, conducted by Resonance Consultancy Ltd, has awarded the national capital the 62nd position, making it the only Indian city to appear on the list.
The ranges have reportedly been given to 100 cities around the world with a population of more than 10 lakh. The ranking was based on 25 factors, including social media hashtags, number of registrations, diversity, tourist attractions, weather, and more. It also included factors such as Covid-19 infections in July, income inconsistency, and unemployment.

9) Los Angeles
10) Madrid
Delhi is the only Indian city featured in the above list. In addition to the top 10 cities, a number of other cities are also featured on the list. They are San Francisco, Amsterdam, Abu Dhabi, Toronto, Prague, Washington DC, Rome, Saint Petersburg, among others.
