Delhi, Gurugram, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Indore, Jaipur: List of new restrictions in cities as Covid-19 cases increase


The number of recent Covid-19 infections recorded daily has decreased, reducing the active number of cases to below 5 lakh. But there is a wave of coronavirus in some cities; most of them had their first wave in June-July. Nighttime curfews, Section 144 are making a comeback in several cities months after unlocking began.

Here’s a list by city / state of all the new regulations.

Delhi

1. Fine of 5,000 rupees for not wearing masks and for violating Covid-19 rules

2. Only 50 guests are allowed at wedding events.

3. Markets will remain open but there will be strict surveillance.

Four. There will be no general lockdown, said CM Arvind Kejriwal from Delhi.

Gurgaon

The Haryana government has closed all schools in the state until November 30, as 174 students and 107 teachers tested positive after the schools reopened.

Mumbai

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation schools will not open this year in Mumbai. The Maharashtra government left the decision to reopen the schools to the local administration. Thane has also decided not to reopen schools this year.

Ahmedabad

1. Full curfew from Friday at 9:00 p.m. to Monday at 6:00 a.m. Only stores that sell milk and medicine will be allowed to remain open.

2. The night curfew will continue from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am

3. There is no school, the university will reopen as of November 23, as previously decided.

Four.The night curfew was also imposed in Rajkot, Surat, Vadodara from Saturday.

Indore

The nightly curfew from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. will be implemented from November 21. Only people engaged in essential services and factory workers are exempt. Apart from Indore, the night curfew will be in effect in Bhopal, Gwalior, Vidisha and Ratlam.

But there will be no blanket lockdown on Madhya Pradesh, Prime Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said.

Jaipur

All districts of Rajasthan will be placed under Section 144 from Saturday.
