PUBG Mobile India APK link appears briefly on the official website


The launch of PUBG Mobile India is apparently just around the corner, as the APK link to download the game briefly appeared for some users in the country. Several PUBG Mobile fans have reported that the PUBG Mobile India game APK file was available on the official website for a while. The website featured two buttons, one leading to a Google Play Store listing of the game, while the second was an APK link to download the game. This was available for some time and only visible to a few. For several other PUBG fans, the first Google Play Store button was opened on the next PUBG Mobile India page, while the second button was opened on the next game’s Facebook page. Since the PUBG Mobile ban, the Government of India has also blocked the official PUBG Mobile website. The Battle Royale game was banned in September this year along with other Chinese apps. In order to return to India, PUBG Corporation must first address all the concerns raised by the government of India. Recently, PUBG Mobile’s parent company KRAFTON signed an agreement with Microsoft Azure to host PUBG games. This somewhere means that PUBG Corp is working to reduce the Chinese connection for which the Indian government has banned the game. At the time of PUBG Mobile India’s official announcement, the company said that the privacy and security of Indian gamers are its top priority.

PUBG Mobile India game is designed keeping in mind the requirements of Indian players and concerns of the government. The game will have similarities to the global version of PUBG Mobile, but there will also be some tweaks. The company has further reiterated that it plans to invest in the gaming community in the countries and also hire 100 employees to establish operations in India for all local communications.

PUBG Corp has yet to reveal the official release date for PUBG Mobile India, but considering the myriad teasers, we think the game should relaunch soon, probably in the next few months. Meanwhile, nCore Games will launch its highly anticipated action game FAU-G in India later this month.
